Man shot at Penn North; two shot overnight

After two daytime homicides Sunday, police are investigating a pair of overnight shootings in E. Baltimore.

Police are investigating three shootings that took place overnight and into Monday, including one in Penn North, following a pair of daytime homicides Sunday.

A man was shot in the groin in the 1600 block of W. North Avenue Monday, Baltimore police said. The location is in the Penn North neighborhood, at the intersection where protests and demonstrations have been centered following the death of Freddie Gray.

No further information was available in the shooting, but police asked anyone with information to call 410-396-2477.

A man was shot in the hand in the 1200 block of N. Decker Ave. in the eastside Berea neighborhood, police said. Anyone with information may call 410-396-2433.

Detectives are also investigating a man shot in the shoulder in the 3800 block of Crestlyn Road in the Ednor Gardens-Lakeside neighborhood in East Baltimore, police said. Anyone with information may call 410-396-2444.

Further details, including suspects and the times of the shootings, was unavailable Monday morning.
