Driver killed in a car crash, three wounded in shootings overnight in Baltimore

Three people were shot and wounded and a man was killed in a car crash overnight in Baltimore, police said Tuesday.

The man was driving with a woman shortly before 2 a.m. Tuesday when police say he crashed into a sign in the 2200 block of N. Howard St. in the Remington neighborhood of North Baltimore. The woman, a passenger, was thrown from the car. Her condition was unknown Tuesday morning, police said. The man was trapped in the car and killed. Police have not identified him.

Shortly before 1 a.m. Tuesday, a 46-year-old man was shot in his foot several blocks west of Camden Yards in South Baltimore. Police said the man was sitting in his work vehicle doing paperwork in the 700 block of Washington Blvd. when the gunman came up and opened fire into the side of the car.

On Monday night just before 10 p.m., a police officer was flagged down in the Edmondson Village Shopping Center by a 59-year-old man who had been shot in his hand, police said. A 46-year-old woman with the man was shot in her head, police said. All three shooting victims were hospitalized.
