A man was shot while inside his car in front of Frederick Douglass High School, police said

A 20-year-old man was shot in his forearm Wednesday evening in front of Frederick Douglass High School in West Baltimore, police said.

The man was shot while sitting in his car on the street in front of the school, police said. Someone drove up and shot the man.

Officers were called shortly after 7:30 p.m. to the shooting in the Mondawmin neighborhood.

The man was hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.
