64-year-old pedestrian struck in Southeast Baltimore hit-and-run dies; investigation continues

A 64-year-old pedestrian who was struck by a truck in a hit-and-run incident in Southeast Baltimore on Dec. 10 has died, Baltimore Police said Monday.

Anthony Russel Johnson, of the 100 block of N. Central Ave., died Thursday, police said. He had been crossing the street when he was struck about 7:07 p.m. on Dec. 10 at the intersection of N. Central Avenue and E. Fayette Street.

Police are still seeking the driver of the light blue pick-up truck, which they believe is a 2005, 2006 or 2007 Dodge Dakota that has sustained damage to its front right corner.
