74-year-old man fatally stabbed in South Baltimore during argument with family member, police say

A 74-year-old man was fatally stabbed in South Baltimore Tuesday afternoon, according to Baltimore police.

Officers were called around 3:45 p.m. to the 200 block of Washburn Ave. in the Brooklyn neighborhood. There, they found the victim suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.

Police said they believe the man had been arguing with a family member when he was stabbed. A person of interest was taken into custody at the scene.
