Traffic: Two injured in Jessup crash

Two people were injured in a car crash in Jessup Thursday.

One of the victims suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and the other had minor injuries, according to the Howard County Fire Department. The accident took place near Route 1.

A car crash with injuries was also reported in Edgewood early in the morning.

According to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, the crash occurred near the intersection of Route 7 and Edgewood Road.

One vehicle was involved in a crash on the outer loop of Interstate 695 at Perring Parkway in Baltimore County, the Maryland Department of Transportation reports. The accident has closed one outer loop shoulder.

Another one vehicle accident in Baltimore County near the Harrisburg Expressway has closed off an inner loop ramp lane on I-695.

A two-vehicle collision, also in Baltimore County, has shut down a southbound shoulder on Interstate 95 near the White Marsh Boulevard exit.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for much of the state. Motorists are urged to use caution as roads may flood.
