Southwest cancels 300 flights Sunday, 72 airports affected

Airline spokeswoman Brandy King said Southwest cancelled another 300 flights on Sunday, affecting 72 airports across its system as inspections continued on 79 aircraft. She could provide no information on how many of the flights affected passengers at BWI-Marshall Airport, or how long the cancellations would continue. A spokesman for BWI declined to comment on the number of flights from BWI that were affected. Frank Roylance
