Towson area crime log

The following is compiled from local police reports. It is our policy to provide identification when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Towson:

Taylor Avenue, 900 block. Feb. 1 between 8:44 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. Woman arrested after allegedly brandishing a knife and making stabbing motions toward a man at Aldi grocery store.

Susquehanna Avenue, 100 block. Between Jan. 27 at 1:30 p.m. and Jan. 28 at 6:34 p.m. Vacant home found with water damage.

York Road, 7800 block. Between Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 29 at 4 a.m. Black Samsung tablet, three screwdrivers, a fluke multi-meter and six wrenches stolen from the Fresenius Medical Center.

Cockeysville:

Belfast Road, Unit block. Feb. 1 between 11:45 p.m. and 11:49 p.m. Two men attempted to enter a vehicle but were scared off by resident.

Northwood Drive, Unit block. Feb. 1 at 11:59 p.m. Black backpack taken from vehicle parked at a residence.

Norwick Circle, Unit block. Feb. 1 between 1 a.m. and 1:10 a.m. Vehicle ransacked by someone dressed all in black. Nothing taken.

Spooks Hill Road, 19400 block. Jan. 31 between 10 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Jewelry, cash, coin and a handgun stolen from home after entering through garage.

Old York Road, 21300 block. Between Jan. 31 at 11 p.m. and Feb. 1 at 4 a.m. Cargo trailer moved from where it was parked.

Jarrettsville Pike, 14100 block. Jan. 31 between 5:15 a.m. and 5:31 a.m. Motorcycle stolen from garage but recovered by police.

Melancthon Avenue, 300 block. Jan. 27 between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Ring and prescription medicine stolen from home after entering through unlocked front door.

Timonium Road, 300 block. Jan. 27 between 7 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. Safe stolen from a residence after entering through unlocked basement door.
