Man using toy gun charged with assault in Towson [Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

Police report that a 47-year-old man has been charged with first-and second-degree assault after threatening a woman with what police say was a toy replica of a gun. According to police, the two were arguing over health issues between 7 and 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 3 at a residence in the 1400 block of Taylor Avenue in Towson, when the man pulled a black handgun from underneath bed and pointed it at her. Woman told police the man put the gun in a trash can outside location. Police found gun, determined it was a toy replica. Robert Graham, 47, of the 1400 block of Taylor Avenue, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and second-degree assault.


Stonewain Court, unit block, at 2:30 a.m. Feb. 9. Door kicked in, frame damaged.

Pleasant Plains Road, 8200 block, between 6 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. Feb. 6. Nikon camera, Macbook laptop, North Face jacket stolen.

Pleasant Plains Road, 8500 block, between 11 p.m. Feb. 4 and 7:41 a.m. Feb. 5. Black 2004 Honda Pilot, Maryland tag number 293M162, stolen.

Virginia Avenue, 500 block, between 6 p.m. Feb. 3 and 6:30 p.m. Feb. 4. Purse containing wallet, credit cards stolen from apartment. Front door was unlocked.

Putty Hill Avenue, 1500 block, between 3 p.m. Nov. 24 and 2:30 p.m. Feb. 4. Stove, refrigerator, television, lawn mower, grill and couch stolen from location.


Nicolas Lane, 600 block, between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Feb. 4. Purse and car keys stolen after entry through unlocked garage door.
