Police looking for burglar hitting eateries in Towson

Season's Pizza, Green Leaves Tobacco among businesses hit by burglar

A burglar has been busy in the Towson area, Baltimore County police say.

Police have released surveillance camera photos of a man they believe might be responsible for a string of burglaries in downtown Towson and the Harford Road corridor, and they are seeking the public's help in identifying him.

Police said the burglar breaks into retail businesses, mostly restaurants, by cracking glass doors with an unknown tool, pushes in the doors, and usually steals money from the cash registers and safe boxes.

Police said the burglaries were committed between Enchanted Cupcakes and Green Leave Tobacco:

The burglaries were reported:

• Aug. 5 at 2:47 a.m. at Season's Pizza in the unit block of York Road;

• Between Aug. 7 at 11:45 p.m. and Aug. 8 at 12:45 a.m., at George's Farmer's Market in the 7900 block of Harford Road;

• Between Aug. 7 at 11:30 p.m. and Aug. 8 at 12:45 a.m., at Enchanted Cupcakes and Treats, also in the 7900 block of Harford Road;

• Between Aug. 7 at 11:30 p.m. and Aug. 8 at 12:19 a.m., at the House of Kabob in the 8000 block of Harford Road;

• Aug. 9, between 11 p.m. and midnight, at Green Leaves Tobacco in the unit block of West Allegheny Avenue;

• Aug. 10 at 12:11 a.m. at Miya Sushi in the unit block of York Road;

• Aug. 15 between 11 and 11:49 p.m. at China Wok in the 6300 block of York Road;

• Between Aug. 15 at 11 a.m. and Aug. 16 at 8 a.m., at Fortunato Brothers Pizza in the 6300 block of York Road;
