Firefighters battle Dundalk fire; two people are injured

Firefighters battled a two-alarm fire at an apartment building in Dundalk on Saturday morning, and two people with injuries were taken to local hospitals, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

The fire at Shipping Place was placed under control around noon after firefighters fought it for about 50 minutes, according to the Fire Department.

One person in critical condition was taken to Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, and another person with non-life-threatening injuries was transported to Franklin Square Medical Center, the Fire Department said.

A spokeswoman for the Fire Department stated that at least one apartment is uninhabitable.
