Man robbed of cellphone, wallet in Towson [Towson Crime Log]

The following is compiled from police reports from the Towson and Cockeysville precincts. Our policy is to include descriptions when there is enough information to make identification possible.

A man was robbed as he cut through a strip mall in the 6300 block of York Road while walking home on March 12, police reports state. According to police, at about 10:30 p.m., the man was attacked by a man who took the walker's cellphone from his hands. The robber also took the man's wallet and the man later told police he saw three men leaving the scene.


Castle Drive, 500 block, at 10 p.m. March 13. Man got off MTA bus on York Road, noticed man following him. Victim was robbed by four men on Castle Drive.

La Salle Road, 8100 block, at 10:42 a.m. March 11. Homeless man spotted sleeping in shed at Calvert Hall. Man was escorted off property.

Seabrook Road, 600 block, between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 12. Person entered house through kitchen window. No items taken.


Pot Spring Road, 2500 block, between 5 p.m. March 3 and 1:47 p.m. March 9. Person stole cash, wallet, credit card, jewelry from room at Mercy Ridge.


Chetwood Circle, 1400 block, between 3:45 p.m. and 11:20 p.m. March 13. Person entered apartment through unlocked rear sliding door, stole television, Macbook from living room. Burglar also stole BluRay movie, white pit bull puppy.
