Man attacked, robbed of cell phone in Rosedale [Crime Log]

A man was robbed of his cell phone during an attack in Rosedale last week. According to Baltimore County police, a man was walking at a bus stop at around 8:30 p.m. Feb. 6 near Fontana Lane and Philadelphia Road when he was approached by two men who grabbed his hood, pulled it over his head and struck him.

The man attempted to fight back, but his attackers knocked him to the ground, according to the police report. The suspects then took a cell phone from the man's pants' pocket and fled the scene.

In addition to this incident, other recent Baltimore County police reports from the area include:

Wilhelm Avenue, 1800 block, between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Feb. 3. Two bicycles and a scooter were stolen from an unlocked shed at a residence.

35th Street, 7900 block, between 3 p.m. Feb. 8 and noon Feb. 9. Power tools were stolen from inside a vacant house. The burglar broke in by kicking open a rear basement door.
