Write your legislator to make them accountable [Letter]

We are just disgusted with the continued increase in taxes to the citizens of Maryland, and in particular the big increase in gas taxes and tolls. When are the people going to do something about them?

We just read that slots has brought in almost $700 million this year so far. Certainly this amount of money will decrease expenses somewhere along the line. Meanwhile, all we do is praise the legislators of our state for hitting us even more.

I am convinced that 80 to 85 percent of the voters in our state don't even know who their district legislators are. If they do, they should swamp them with letters or emails to tell them to do the right thing for us.

Find out the name of your district legislator and ask him or her to give us the reasons for their actions.
