2400 block, between 9 and 1 p.m. Aug. 15. Red and black umbrella, cash stolen from metal cabinet in conference room at Sinai Hospital.

North Calvert Street

3200 block, between 2:55 and 3:20 p.m. Aug. 15. Two bakcpacks, two laptops, two cellphone chargers among items stolen from vehicle.

2600 block, between 7 and 9 p.m. Aug. 14. Wallet, ID stolen from coffee table at group home, where victim was attending Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.

2400 block, between 7 p.m. Aug. 14 and 8:51 a.m. Aug. 15. Sunglasses, cash, boots stolen from vehicle.

NorthCharles Street

3200 block at 9:20 a.m. Aug. 16. Stranger entered resident's bedroom after removing window pane from rear door. Resident awoke and asked, "What are you doing here?" Stranger replied, "I'm a contractor," and fled. Nothing stolen.

Clipper Mill Road

3600 block, between 2 and 3 p.m. Aug. 15. Silver, 2010 BMW with Maryland tags 43507CD stolen.

West Cold Spring Lane

300 block, between 2:45 and 3 p.m. Aug. 16. Gray, 2004 Volvo V70 station wagon with Maryland tags MEC165 stolen.

Cross Country Boulevard

5600 block, between 7 p.m. Aug. 14 and 9 a.m. Aug. 15. Coins, sunglasses stolen from unlocked vehicle.

Falls Road

3600 block at noon Aug. 17. Suspect arrested oin charge sof stealing carrot cake.

Greenspring Avenue

4700 block at 3 p.m. Aug. 14. Resident came home to find two people in residence. Struggle ensued and assailants fled. Nothing stolen.


3800 block, between 6:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Aug. 17. Two Xboxes, laptop, TV, keys, tag 177ZPK for 2010 Toyota stolen.

Hawthorne Road

100 block, between 1:10 and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 14. Pouch, wallet, ID, American and Canadian money, gift cards, purse, clothing, bag, passport stolen from vehicle.

400 block, between 6:30 p.m. Aug. 16 and 8:45 a.m. Aug. 17. Garmin GPS, pouch, cash stolen from unlocked vehicle.

2200 block, between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 8:30 a.m. Aug. 15. Cash stolen from unlocked vehicle.

1700 block, between 5 p.m. Aug. 14 and 11:51 a.m. Aug. 15. Copper downspouts stolen from St. John's Episcopal Church in Mount Washington.

2700 block, between midnight and 1 .m. Aug. 17. 30 CDs stolen from residence. Entry gained through unlocked front window.
