Baltimore County fire crews were on the scene of a fire Friday afternoon in Overelea, according to the department.
Crews were battling a house fire at 6905 Belair Road, according to tweets from the Baltimore County Fire Department. An initial call for the fire requested a rescue, but no rescue was needed once the fire department arrived, fire spokesman Nicholas Tyson said.
The fire started in the third-floor attic of a mixed-use building with a business on the first floor and residence in the second and third stories, Tyson said. The blaze was out by 4:30 p.m.
There were no injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, Tyson said.
