Police release details on three killings in Baltimore

A Woodlawn man died Friday after police said he was fatally beaten last month in North Baltimore

Police released information Monday about three killings in Baltimore, saying a 22-year-old man from Woodlawn has died after he was beaten last month in North Baltimore.

Gregory Robinson died Friday after about a month in the hospital. Doctors determined he was fatally beaten, police said.

On the afternoon of July 15, Robinson and a family member were walking on Walters Avenue in Glen Oaks and they started arguing with another person. Police did not provide information about the other person. But officers said the argument escalated and Robinson was knocked unconscious, suffering the fatal injuries to his head.

Also Friday, a 43-year-old man died after he was shot last week in Southwest Baltimore. Police said William Henry Jackson III, of Easterwood, died after he was shot Aug. 9 on the 2400 block of Frederick Ave.

Police announced manslaughter charges against a 30-year-old man from Southwest Baltimore who police said crashed a stolen car, fatally injuring his girlfriend's young son in the car. Rodney Blake Jr., of Millhill, was arrested and charged Thursday. Police said he was driving his girlfriend and her son in the stolen car early on June 11. He crashed about 6 a.m. at York Road and Woodbourne Avenue, leaving his girlfriend unconscious in the car and taking her 7-year-old son. Nearly four hours later, police were called to Clarks Lane in Fallstaff for the child, who was not breathing. The boy, Nedeljko Williams, died a short time later from a wound to his small intestine, police said.

Blake is held at Central Booking, and online court records did not list his attorney.
