Two people were injured in a motorcycle crash on the Baltimore Beltway on Tuesday afternoon, Maryland State Police said.
The crash was reported about 2:45 p.m. just before the exit to Wilkens Avenue on the inner loop of Interstate 695. Two people, one male and one female, were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
Three lanes of the inner loop reopened just after 5 p.m.
The crash involved what State Police called “trike-style motorcycles” — motorcycles with one wheel on one end and two wheels on the other.
Police are still investigating what caused the crash.
