Construction on E. 26th Street

Construction crews work on boring a deep, cylindrical hole into E. 26th Street in Charles Village on Tuesday, the start of a project to shore up and replace a retaining wall that collapsed onto a parallel cut of CSX track amid heavy rains last week. City officials have provided few details on the city construction contract, including how much it will cost.
