Baltimore did not conduct routine inspections after E. 26th Street collapse
Baltimore officials promised to conduct routine inspections of retaining walls and other aging infrastructure after the 2014 collapse of a part of E. 26th Street. Only one inspection by city officials took place between then and the November 2018 partial collapse of another section of East 26th Street.
