Woman runs over property employee with her car during eviction, police say

A Glen Burnie woman was arrested Thursday after Anne Arundel County police said she repeatedly ran over a property employee as she was being evicted from her home.

Kalli Colleen Kassab, 25, faces charges of attempted manslaughter, assault, reckless endangerment and traffic offenses. Police said she became disorderly during the eviction process, spit on the employee, got in her car and struck the victim about 1:15 p.m. in the 6600 block of Shelly Road. She then ran over the employee's leg, placed the car in drive and hit the victim again, according to police.

The suspect then struck the gunbelt of an Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Deputy who was at the scene with the vehicle while fleeing, police said. Officers later found Kassab at a store in the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway.

The employee was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said. The sheriff's deputy was not injured.

Online court records did not list a lawyer for Kassab
