Pasadena man charged with stabbing man

Anne Arundel County police have arrested a Pasadena man and charged him with stabbing another man Friday in Glen Burnie.

Police say Joseph John Dumsha, 27, got into an argument Friday evening with the victim at a location in Brooklyn Park. The victim left in a vehicle, but Dumsha followed. Eventually the two men stopped in the 400 block of Browning Court in Glen Burnie. During a struggle, police say, Dumsha stabbed the victim in the chest.

Dumsha stayed on the scene the when police arrived about 7:15 p.m. The victim — who police did not identify — was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Dumsha was charged with attempted second degree homicide, assault and reckless endangerment.

A lawyer for Dumsha was not listed in electronic court records.
