Arundel police say five arrests resulted from Glen Burnie drug warrant

Anne Arundel County Police on Friday arrested five people ranging age from 22 to 29 on various drug-related charges after they discovered about 60 grams of suspected marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $830 in cash at a house in Glen Burnie.

Police said detectives from a narcotics team went to the home on Jackson Avenue on Friday at about 10 p.m. to serve a search warrant. The warrant was in response to several neighbor complaints of drug use and activity, police said.

During the search, detectives seized 59.94 grams of suspected marijuana – with a street value of about $1,200, police said – as well as the cash and digital scales.

Arrested and charged were Tyrone Eugene Johnson, 22, and William Ashley Johnson, 26, both of Glen Burnie; Antoine Boyea Thorn, 27, of Severn; Damien Darnell Thorne, 25, of Forestville; and Aisha Naeemah Childs, 29, of Largo.

Police said all five face charges related to possession of marijuana and paraphernalia; Tyrone Johnson and William Johnson also faces charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.
