Food and Resource Bank

Four-wheel-drive vehicles

Hospice of the Chesapeake seeks volunteers with four-wheel-drive vehicles to assist patients and staff with transportation during inclement weather. Information: 443-837-1549 or 800-745-6132.

House of Hope

Volunteers are needed for administrative support, transportation to and from appointments, job counseling and life-skills coaches, computer maintenance help, and serving on the board of directors. Also, donations of food and clothing items, cleaning, office and kitchen supplies, paper products, toiletry items, landscaping tools and more are needed. Moveable Feast

Moveable Feast, a nonprofit organization, provides home-delivered meals for clients with HIV/AIDS. Volunteers, who can be as young as 16 (15 or younger with an adult), are needed to deliver meals between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Salvation Army

Volunteers are needed to drop off donations Monday through Friday for Salvation Army food pantries in Annapolis and Glen Burnie. Suggested items include nonperishable canned goods and boxed food; toiletries are also welcome. Groups that hold food drives can make arrangements to have the food picked up. Speakers, Tutors, Achievement, Retention, Success (STARS) needs men and women to work as mentors and/or tutors to students ages 16 to 24. Maritime Museum

The museum needs volunteers to help with a variety of tasks, including archiving, membership, office support, buildings and ground, blogging, education programs, website content, environmental stewardship, data entry, lighthouse tours, oyster and fish tank, wooden boat crew and more. Eastport Girls Club
