'Lois Mailou Jones: A Life in Vibrant Color' Exhibition of more than 50 paintings, drawings and textile designs influenced by great American movements of the 20th century will be on display from Tuesday, Jan. 10, to Feb. 12, at St. John's College's Mitchell Gallery, 60 College Ave. in Annapolis. 'A Sense of Place' Encaustic paintings by Marilyn Banner are on view through Jan. 27 at the Adkins Arboretum's Visitors Center, 12610 Eveland Road near Tuckahoe State Park in Ridgely.
