Police charge two with sexually soliciting minors online

County police said they arrested two men who tried to solicit officers who were posing as 13-year-old girls online.

Arthur Gene Strissell III, 42, of Spa Road in Annapolis, and Nigel Wesley Scott, 29, of Retreat Court in Odenton, were charged with sexual solicitation of a minor.

Strissell is being held on a $250,000 bond; Scott has been released on a $20,000 bond, police said.

The charges are the result of an online sting conducted this week, police said.

Both men attempted to meet who they thought were 13-year-old girls at undisclosed locations in the county, police said.

Detectives from the department's child abuse unit participate with the regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
