Old Mill sweeps tri-meet from Annapolis, Meade

Trinity Killip (106, 113), Walter Lundstrum (120), Levi Garren (182) and Stephen Nisewiesner (HWT) recorded two pins each as Old Mill defeated Annapolis, 47-20, and Meade, 63-18.

Damion Mansapit (126) and Caron Tull (138, 145) also won twice for the Patriots (2-0). Brent Newland won by pin at 152 pounds and Nate Fleming did the same at 220 pounds for Old Mill against Meade. Old Mill heads to North Hagerstown this weekend for a dual tournament.

Kyle Lemming recorded two pins for Annapolis, which defeated Meade, 63-18, in the third match. Keaghan Mueller (152) and Brandon Jackson (220) had two wins each for the Panthers.

Noah Widmer (113) and Malaci Davis (145) won both their matches by pin for Meade.

SOUTHERN SWEEPS TRI-MEET: Justin Knapp (106), Andrew Ruel (120), Devin Ball (126), Christian Taylor (152) and Averum White (170) all won twice as the Bulldogs defeated Severna Park, 37-36, and Arundel, 45-36.

Colin Shadowens (138), Griffin Sticker (145), Michael Hamlett (170) and Ron Schlipp (182) all had pins as Severna Park defeated Arundel, 48-36.

Adam Lake (162), Caleb Cheaves (132, two pins), Trevor Gagnon (160), Devon Thompson (195, two pins) each posted two wins for the Wildcats.
