Annapolis resident Craig “Woody” Leydig is bringing the Stanley Cup to Ego Alley/City Dock from 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The Washington Capitals’ equipment manager gets a day with cup and wants to share it with Annapolis. Leydig encourages residents and Capitals fans to touch and get photos taken with the cup.

The Stanley Cup will be taken around town, and Leydig’s day with the top prize in professional hockey will conclude with a party with friends and family.

The Capitals won the cup for the first time June 7 after defeating the Las Vegas Knights in five games in the Stanley Cup finals.

Leydig has been with the Capitals for 29 years.
