Annapolis police hoping someone comes clean over Safeway robbery

If the alleged robber ever gets caught, at least his clothes should be clean.

Annapolis police officers responded to the Safeway at 1781 Forest Drive for a shoplifting on Monday. Officers spoke to the store manager who told them an unknown male left the store with four bottles of Tide laundry detergent.

The store is estimating a loss of $31.96. It is unknown whether the robber grabbed dryer sheets, also.

A canvas of the area could not find the subject. Maybe someone will come clean about the theft.
