A Prince George’s County man pleaded guilty to two counts of vehicular manslaughter tied to a crash in Crofton last year that left two people dead.

Reginald Donovan Dunn, 26, of Clinton, pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges related to the deaths of Marcus Nicholas Spriggs, 26, and Jasmine Lee Mastin, 25.

Police said that Dunn was driving a Dodge Charger in the area of Route 3 and Wellfleet Lane on Feb. 25, 2017 when he crashed into the passenger side of Spriggs’ and Mastin’s Nissan Altima.

Spriggs’ and Mastin’s vehicle collided with a tree and a pole. Both were declared dead at the scene while a third person was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious injuries.

Police said they believed Dunn was speeding. He was not charged with alcohol- or drug-related offenses.

An attorney for Dunn did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday.
