Police have arrested a Glen Burnie woman in connection with the armed robbery of a taxi cab driver in Annapolis last month.

Annapolis police searched for two suspects after a taxi cab driver told investigators a man tried to rob him at gunpoint while he was driving two fares on April 30.

Police said the two suspects jumped out of the vehicle while it was in motion, and the man fired one round at the cab. The driver was not struck.

Police first arrested Leslie Broadway, 19, of Severn, on May 2 and charged him with armed robbery and 11 other offenses in connection with the incident.

He was also charged with spitting at a detective during his arrest, police spokesman Sgt. Amy Miguez said.

Police then identified Myriah Adams, 22, as the second suspect in the crime and arrested her on Saturday.

She’s set to face charges related to the robbery this week.
