One person was injured Monday morning when a car was overturned in a crash in front of Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Firefighters were called to the scene of a crash in front of the hospital at Medical Parkway and Jennifer Road in Annapolis at 8:15 a.m., said Lt. Erik Kornmeyer, spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

Kornmeyer said a car collided with a pickup truck, causing the truck to roll over on its side.

The driver of the truck was freed in four minutes, Kornmeyer said, and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No one else was injured in the crash.

No information on the cause of the crash or whether there were any citations issued was immediately available.
