Police dispatch recordings highlighted the violence as hundreds of youths from Baltimore’s east and west sides converged on downtown on St. Patrick's Day. Police called in reinforcements to push the combative crowd out of the area, but not before more than a dozen fights broke out. Police reported at least three stabbings or cuttings, one person knocked unconscious, and a Tasering to subdue a young man.
