A man died after being shot several times in the 2400 block of Lauretta Ave. in Rosemont on Tuesday, police said.

Officers responded to a report of the shooting around 7:40 p.m., and took the man to an area hospital, where he later died, police said.

The exact circumstances of the shooting have not been released, pending homicide detectives' investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-396-2100.
