Baltimore police say a man is in critical condition after a shooting Saturday afternoon in the 200 block of Collins Avenue.

At 4:30 p.m. officers found the man in an alley suffering from two gunshot wounds, one to the right leg and a second to the left hip. The man told police he was walking along Collins Avenue when he was approached by an unknown man who shot at him, police said.

The victim — who was not identified — was taken to an area hospital in critical, but stable, condition. Detectives are asking that anyone with information call 410-396-2488.
