A man was shot in the left arm in East Baltimore on Thursday night, police said.
Officers found the man in the 1400 block of East Preston Street, in the Oliver neighborhood, about 9:24 p.m., police said.
The man told police he was shot at the corner of Preston and Caroline streets, also in Oliver, and then ran to a friends house to wait for police.
The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at 410-396-2433.
Police have not provided the victim's age.
