Arundel man, 34, charged in repeat pharmacy robbery

Baltimore Sun

An Edgewater man was arrested at his home Thursday and charged with robbing employees of painkillers from the same Annapolis pharmacy four times in the past five months, Annapolis police said. Charles Edward Lawrence, 34, was charged with four counts each of armed robbery, assault and other crimes, according to police. They have accused Lawrence of demanding Oxycodone and similar drugs at gunpoint from employees at the Annapolis Professional Pharmacy in the 700 block of Giddings Ave. between October and March 12. Police said he also robbed an Elkridge drugstore twice in 2006. Court records show that he was placed on three years of supervised probation in 2007, after he pleaded guilty to robbing a Howard County drug store twice.
