Eastern BaltimoreRobbery A man, 43, was in the 2000 block of E. Preston St. about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when he was approached by two men, one of whom asked him if the No. 5 bus stopped there. Before the victim could reply, one of the men displayed a handgun and ordered the victim to give up his property. The gunman and his accomplice then robbed the victim of $13, a watch and a wedding ring before escaping on foot.
Baltimore Co. – EssexBurglary Electronics valued at $2,000 were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1200 block of Punjab Drive by someone who entered through a kitchen window.
Baltimore Co. – CockeysvilleBurglary Someone entered a basement apartment in the unit block of King's Crossing Court through a rear window Tuesday and stole two X-Box consoles, a Wii gaming system, a camera and a lap-top computer. Also taken was a suitcase and a duffel bag used to carry away the property, all valued at more than $1,000.
Baltimore Co. – FranklinRobbery Police were seeking three men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed a man, 39, of his wallet, $230 and a cell phone about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday while he walked across the parking lot at the Metro station in the 5000 block of Painters Mill Road. The men escaped in a white van.
Kidnapping/robbery/arrest A man, 22, was about to enter his home on Deer Lodge Court about 10 p.m. Sunday when a man known to him forced him into a car while threatening to injure him with a screwdriver. While driving the victim around for a period of time, the man robbed the victim of his cell phone before dropping him off near his home. Arrested and charged with kidnapping, robbery and assault and held at the county's detention center was Eddy Pedro German, 26, of the 900 block of Shirley Manor Road in Reisterstown.
Baltimore Co. – PikesvilleAssault Two men and a woman were arguing in the 2800 block of Smith Ave. about 11 a.m. Tuesday when one of the men struck the other man with a garden hose and attempted to hit the woman with a snow shovel. The assailant, 46, drove away and was being sought. Neither victim was injured.
Baltimore Co. – WoodlawnRobbery Police were seeking three men, one armed with a knife, who entered Calico Cat in the 2100 block of Gwynn Oak Ave. about 3 p.m. Tuesday and removed $100 from a cash register and stole a vase, 26 bracelets, five pairs of earrings, 17 necklaces and seven leather-bound journals, all valued at $5,369. During the robbery, one of the men struck a 50-year-old store employee in the face and robbed him of his wallet containing $76.
