Central BaltimoreShooting A man was shot in the back by an unknown assailant about 6:45 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Ave. and was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Details of the shooting and the man's condition were not available.

Southern BaltimoreTheft Someone entered a 2006 Ford truck parked in the 1400 block of Stevenson St. over the weekend and stole a laptop computer and a navigational system, all worth nearly $1,600.

Theft While a vehicle was stopped in the 900 block of S. Charles St. on Friday, a 59-year-old female driver was distracted by another woman for a few moments. During that time, another woman reached into the car and removed the driver's wallet containing $20. Both suspects escaped.

Eastern BaltimoreStolen vehicle A 2004 Volkswagen Jetta with tags 4BT 232 was parked in the 400 block of N. Castle St. on Friday with the keys in the ignition when someone stole it.

Baltimore Co. – North PointTheft/arrests A man and a teenage boy were arrested Saturday and charged with shoplifting property from two businesses. Baltimore Raven hats and jackets were stolen from Poor Boys on German Hill Road and the nearby DJ Liquidators. The two were stopped in their car by police near Fort Howard. Charged with theft were Gregory Hrica of the 4000 block of St. Augustine Lane and the juvenile.

Baltimore Co. – ParkvilleStabbing/arrest Two men were fighting in The Barn, a restaurant and sports bar in the 9500 block of Harford Road, about 1 a.m. Saturday when one stabbed the other in the chest with a knife. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Arrested and charged with first-degree assault was Justin McNeal, 33, of the 300 block of Ballard Ave.
