Southeastern BaltimoreBank robberies/arrest FBI agents and members of the Regional Warrant Apprehension Task Force arrested Wednesday morning Richard Tingler, 45, in the 3700 block of Mount Pleasant Ave. in Highlandtown on warrants charging him with robbing the Carrollton Bank in the 500 block of S. Conkling St. of undisclosed sums of money Dec. 21 and 28, said Special Agent Richard Wolf, spokesman for the Baltimore Office of the FBI. Wolf said Tingler, whose address was not available, was being held at a local detention center pending an arraignment in federal court.
Central BaltimoreShooting A boy, 17, was reported in good condition at an area hospital after he was shot twice in the back about 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 1600 block of St. Paul St. The victim flagged down two passing Northern District officers who summoned an ambulance. Police said the victim was not cooperating with detectives and that no arrest had been made.
Eastern BaltimoreTheft A navigational system valued at $180 was stolen Sunday from a vehicle parked in the 2000 block of Kennedy Ave.
Burglary Someone broke into a house in the 800 block of N. Glover St. on Monday and stole a cell phone, a radio and video games. There were no signs of forced entry.
Theft Tools of unknown value were stolen between Sunday and Monday from a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of Robb St.
Theft A vehicle was parked in the 300 block of E. 22nd St. on Monday when someone broke into it after shattering a passenger-side window and stole a navigational system.
Baltimore Co. – FranklinBurglary/arrests Two men and a woman were arrested Monday and charged with breaking into a house in the 4100 block of Daylily Drive in Randallstown that morning and stealing a lap top computer, eight DVDs and 13 video games, all valued at $1,500. A police officer was patrolling near Northwest Regional Park when he observed a car containing three people. During an investigation, Collin K. Allen, 20, of the 10000 block of Almart Road in Owings Mills; Kenyeal T. Moore, 20, of the 3800 block of Sandy Hook Road in Reisterstown; and Darnell A. Hill, 21, of the 4100 block of Brookside Oaks in Owings Mills, were charged with burglary. The property was recovered.
Baltimore Co. – White MarshRobbery A woman, 23, was standing at a bus stop on Philadelphia Road near Fontana Lane about 4 p.m. Tuesday when a man armed with a knife robbed her of a cell phone and money, all valued at $60.
Burglary A TV, clothing, an iPod, cigarettes and a diamond cross were stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of Haylock Court.
Burglary Someone broke into J&J; Wine & Spirits in the 11500 block of Philadelphia Road through a door early Tuesday, fastened a chain onto the ATM and attached the other end to a vehicle. In the attempt to pull the machine out of the building, the chain broke and the intruder drove off without the ATM before police arrived.
Burglary Four TVs, clothing, shoes, jewelry, video games and two lap top computers, all valued at $11,150, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1600 block of Rosewick Ave. by someone who entered through a basement door.
Baltimore Co. – North PointBurglary A safe, video games, car keys, several silver dollars and a laundry basket were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 7000 block or Eastbrook Ave. Entry was through a front window.
Burglary Hand and power tools, all valued at nearly $1,600, were stolen between Monday and Tuesday from a house in the 2700 block of Kirkleigh Road.
Baltimore Co. – PikesvilleAssault/arrest A man, 42, and a woman, 23, were arguing at Park Heights Avenue at Old Court Road about 9 a.m. Tuesday when the woman struck the man with her car as she drove off, which threw him onto the hood before falling to the ground. Arrested and charged with first-degree assault was Ashley Holden, of the 2800 block of Violet Ave. in Northwest Baltimore.
Burglary A rifle valued at $800 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the first block of Pineland Court by someone who entered through a basement door.
