Police continue to seek the person or persons who fatally shot a man in an alley in the 2300 block of Ocala Ave. near Druid Hill Park about 3 p.m. Sunday. Police said the victim, whose name has not been confirmed, was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene by city Fire Department medics. Two men observed by bystanders fleeing the scene were being sought. Metro Crime Stoppers at 410-276-8888 is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest and an indictment in the city's first homicide this year.
Two TVs, a set of speakers, a refrigerator and a coffee table were stolen between Dec. 31 and Saturday from a house in the 600 block of Aisquith St. by someone who entered through a door.
Baltimore Co. – White Marsh
A TV and a Wii system and games were stolen between Saturday night and early Sunday from a house in the 6000 block of Marquette Road by someone who entered after breaking a rear window.
Police were seeking the person who broke into a house in the 5000 block of Allender Road on Saturday through a side window and ransacked several rooms. Police said no property was reported missing but that the intruder watched TV before fleeing.
Baltimore Co. – Essex
Several cans of paint were stolen between Nov. 29 and Sunday from a county Department of Recreation and Parks storage building in the 800 block of Middle River Road.
Someone entered the rear yard of a house in the first block of Clipper Road on Saturday and stole a 50 cc motorized scooter.
A female resident of the first block of Blue Heron Court was home Sunday morning when she heard a noise coming from her deck and observed a man attempting to break in. Upon seeing the woman, the man fled. No property was reported stolen.
Baltimore Co. – Wilkens
Two brothers, one 56 and the other 53, were arguing in their home in the 600 block of Orbington Road on Saturday afternoon when one threatened the other with a handgun. Police investigating the incident said no weapon was found and that no one was arrested.
