A 48-year-old West Baltimore man is charged with attempted murder after police said he stabbed a co-worker in the chest Saturday morning alongside a road in Hunt Valley.
William Johnson Jr., of the 1500 block of N. Gilmor St., fled the scene, police said, then he turned himself in Saturday afternoon.
He is also charged with assault and held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Just before 8 a.m. Saturday, Johnson and his co-worker were driving to a work site and stopped along Shawan Road to adjust a load in the truck. The men had been arguing and, on the side of the road, Johnson stabbed the other man, police said.
The victim suffered a life-threatening injury; his condition Monday was unknown.
Online court records did not list Johnson's attorney.
