A man was killed and three other people injured in separate shootings in Baltimore Sunday.
The fatality occurred at approximately 7:33 a.m., when Eastern District Patrol Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2300 block of E. Hoffman St. in Broadway East around 7:30 a.m. Officers located an adult male who suffered from multiple gunshot wounds to the back. He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
Police say the man was sitting in a vehicle when suspects began shooting at him. The victim was able to drive to the corner of Hoffman and Montford Avenue, where his vehicle stopped.
A 63-year-old-woman told police she was shot while driving in the area of Gwynn Oak and Rogers Ave in Northwest Baltimore sometime between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. She continued driving and went to a hospital hours later, around 6 p.m. Police said she refused to cooperate with investigators.
A man was also in Northeast Baltimore around 3 a.m. Police said they were investigating whether the two incidents were related.
Officers responded to that shooting, in the 5300 block of Norwood Ave. in Howard Park, at 3:02 a.m. Northwest District officers located a 30-year-old male who was shot in the lower back. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he remains in unknown condition.
The man had been approached by two unidentified persons, according to a preliminary investigation. They shot the victim, then removed his cellphone. Both fled in an unknown direction.
A 35 year-old man was shot in the upper body in the 2900 block of Mosher St. in West Baltimore just before 4 p.m. He was taken to an area hospital
