A 26-year-old Milford Mill man is charged with attempted murder and assault after police said he shot his girlfriend's father in the back early Saturday.
Malek Dale-Dominic Medley, of the 7200 block of Oak Haven Circle, is held without bail at Baltimore County Detention Center.
Early Saturday, Medley argued with his girlfriend in their apartment on Oak Haven Circle, police said. She left the apartment and returned with her father to pick up some items.
Then Medley and his girlfriend's father began arguing. The boyfriend shot the 49-year-old father multiple times in the back, police said. The father was treated at the hospital shortly before 2 a.m. and was later released.
Online court records did not list Medley's attorney.
