BALTIMORE (AP) — A Baltimore man has been sentenced to life plus 10 years for killing his estranged wife and assaulting another woman in his home.
Lukasz Szkiluk, 65, was sentenced Thursday in Baltimore City Circuit Court. He had been convicted of first-degree murder in the shooting death of 38-year-old Linda Szkiluk.
Prosecutors say on June 29, 2013, Lukasz Szkiluk invited a woman to his house and choked her and tied her up. Authorities say Lukasz Szkiluk then shot his wife, showed the other woman his wife's body, and left.
The woman was able to free herself and call police.
