A 31-year-old Baltimore County man suffered life-threatening injuries in a fight early Sunday morning in Ocean City, police said.
Ocean City police did not release his name, but said the victim was hospitalized in serious condition at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
The man and a friend were involved in a fight with four other men, police said. Officers were called about 2:30 a.m. to the scene at 136th Street and Coastal Highway.
Police did not say if the man's friend was injured. Officers were searching for four men suspected in the assault. Two of these men are believed to be from the Baltimore area, police said.
The first suspect is between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches with light hair and tattoos on his arms and neck. The second man is about 6 feet and 200 pounds with curly parted hair and eyeglasses. Police did not provide details about the two others.
