Teens charged in dice game shooting death in Dundalk

Two who fled to W.V. after a shooting last month have been charged in the case, police said.

Three men were playing dice in the basement of a Dundalk home last month when one, Amritpal Mavi, shot another in the head, according to police.

Then Mavi, 17, and Michael Mullen, 18, fled to West Virginia and were arrested two weeks later in April, police said.

Baltimore County police announced their arrests Tuesday.

Both men are charged with murder and armed robbery. Mavi, of the 1800 block of Homberg Ave., was charged as adult. Mullen had no known address, police said. They both are held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Attorneys for them could not immediately be reached Tuesday night.

Mullen was found April 18 in Beaver, W.Va.; Mavi three days later in Mount Hope, W.Va.

The victim, Marlo Braxton, 21, was found dead April 4 inside the home on the 7500 block of Lange St. He did not live there, police said.

The motive of the shooting remains unknown, police said.
