Police are searching for three men who put on masks and robbed a convenience store in Edgewood at gunpoint this month, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.
Police don't know the identities of the suspects. They also said they believe there were witnesses to the event who have yet to be identified.
About 2:55 a.m. on Aug. 13, the three men entered the 7-Eleven store in the 1000 block of Gateway Road in Edgewood and pointed at least two guns — a black handgun and a dark colored "long gun" — at the clerk, demanding money, police said.
The men took an undisclosed amount of cash and an undisclosed number of cigarette packs from the clerk before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction, police said.
All three men were wearing blue latex gloves, police said. One was wearing a dark colored ski mask, one a dark spotted ski mask and the third a white mask, police said.
The men are described as a black man about 5 feet 7 in height with a medium build and facial hair on his chin; a black male about 6 feet tall with a thin build; and a man of an unknown race between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 8.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Harford County Sheriff Office Detective Brian Potts at 410-836-5408.
