A woman died in a double shooting in Radnor-Winston in North Baltimore on Tuesday night, Baltimore Police said in a news release early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 10:50 p.m., police said, Northern District officers responded to the 500 block of Richwood Ave. for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified man and woman who had been shot. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was transported to an area hospital and is in serious condition, the news release said.
Homicide detectives were notified and are investigating.

Earlier on Tuesday night, at 10:23 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to calls for discharging in the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard in Washington Village/Pigtown, police said.
Upon arrival, officers found evidence of discharging but no shooting victims. While at the scene, officers were notified of two shooting victims had recently walked into an area hospital seeking treatment. Both victims, 31- and 27-year-old men, were suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, the release said

The shootings follow a violent several days during which nine people were killed for the second year in a row over Memorial Day weekend.
