Two shot, one dead in Baltimore shooting Friday night

On Friday night, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to discharging in the 500 block of Richwood Avenue in the Richnor Springs neighborhood.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

A second victim, a 22-year-old male, was found in the 4800 block of York Road and was suffering from gunshot wounds to the arm and abdomen. He was transported to a hospital and is in serious condition.

Homicide detectives responded out and are investigating this incident. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2100.
